Abstract

The article discusses the critical need for privacy-preserving data processing in modern society and introduces a quantum-secure protocol for two-party Euclidean distance computation. Building on the principles of quantum mechanics, this protocol leverages mutually unbiased bases to enable secure computation without revealing private data. The protocol involves a semi-honest third party and employs decoy state techniques to detect eavesdropping, ensuring robust security against external attacks, participant attacks, and semi-honest third-party attacks. The article provides a detailed analysis of the protocol's correctness and security, highlighting its superiority over classical cryptographic methods threatened by advances in quantum computing.
