Abstract

The study investigates the radio-photoluminescence (RPL) phenomenon in Ag-doped Cs2O–MgO–Al2O3–P2O5 glasses, focusing on their potential for X-ray imaging. The research explores the luminescence properties of both undoped and Ag-doped samples before and after X-ray irradiation, revealing the formation of new luminescent centers. The X-ray imaging capabilities of the Ag-doped samples are evaluated, demonstrating the potential for high spatial resolution. The study also examines the effects of heat treatment on the luminescence properties, identifying optimal conditions for enhancing RPL signals. The findings highlight the promise of Ag-doped glasses for advanced X-ray imaging applications.
