Zusammenfassung

In Kap. 14 haben wir abgeleitet, warum Geldwertstabilität das primäre Ziel der Notenbankpolitik sein sollte. Es stellt sich nun die Frage, wie die Geldpolitik zu gestalten ist, damit Preisniveaustabilität tatsächlich erreicht werden kann. Von besonderer Bedeutung für die geldpolitische Praxis ist dabei, wie groß der Entscheidungsspielraum der Notenbank ist.
