Regimewandel und Demokratie durch Transitional Justice

Zusammenfassung

Transitional Justice (TJ) kann den Regimewechsel und –wandel politischer Systeme langfristig beeinflussen, sowohl demokratischen Wandel als auch autoritären. Bei TJ handelt es sich um einen langfristigen Prozess und eine Vielzahl von Instrumenten, Mechanismen und Verfahren – den Maßnahmen – die von unterschiedlichen Akteuren zum Regimewandel aber auch zum Regimeerhalt genutzt werden. Diese Akteure setzen gezielt TJ Maßnahmen für ihre jeweiligen politischen Ziele ein. In diesem Beitrag wird der Zusammenhang zwischen TJ und dem demokratischen als auch dem autokratisch-diktatorischer Wandel aufgezeigt.
