Abstract

The article delves into the critical issue of unbalanced mining and excavation in coal mines, particularly focusing on the Shenmu Ningtiaota Mining Company. It presents an innovative low-density cross-border support technology for large-section coal roadways, which significantly reduces support time and enhances excavation efficiency. The research combines numerical simulations and field practices to validate the effectiveness of this technology, demonstrating substantial improvements in roadway stability and mining rates. The study highlights the importance of understanding time-effect characteristics and the strategic use of cross-boundary support mechanisms to optimize coal mining operations.
