Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive study on the development of maintenance strategies for photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems, focusing on the challenges posed by random shocks from extreme weather conditions. It highlights the significance of economically reasonable operation and maintenance strategies to mitigate frequent component failures and high maintenance costs. The research compares various maintenance methods, including preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency fault maintenance, and introduces a reliability-based preventive maintenance strategy that considers component reliability and external shocks. The proposed strategy aims to minimize average maintenance costs while ensuring high system reliability. The study also introduces an incomplete maintenance strategy that takes into account the aging process of equipment and proposes a multi-stage opportunity repair strategy with bi-objective optimization. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of considering both natural degradation and external shocks in formulating maintenance strategies for PV systems, offering a unique perspective that sets it apart from other studies in the field.
