Abstract

The article delves into the optimization of power control routing algorithms for wireless sensor networks using ant colony optimization techniques. It introduces the N-EEABR algorithm, which enhances the EEABR algorithm by adding new combination items to neighbor lists and refining pheromone updating formulas. Additionally, the PCABR algorithm is proposed to further reduce energy consumption by adjusting transmission power levels based on received signal strength. The research includes a comprehensive simulation study that demonstrates the superior performance of the N-EEABR and PCABR algorithms in terms of energy efficiency and node energy balance. The article concludes by highlighting the potential for future research in addressing ant convergence problems and adaptive parameter adjustments.
