Abstract

The article delves into the axial stress distribution law of mountain pipelines affected by lateral landslides, focusing on two pipeline leakage incidents in Qinglong County. It establishes mechanical and finite element models to simulate the stress distribution and analyzes the impact of various parameters such as soil cohesion, internal friction angle, Poisson’s ratio, landslide displacement, and pipeline burial depth on the axial stress of the pipelines. The study highlights the stress concentration points in the middle and edge of the landslide displacement, providing valuable insights for the construction and maintenance of mountain pipelines.
