Abstract

This research delves into the mechanisms driving landslide evolution, utilizing ground radar images for precise monitoring and prediction. The study introduces the cumulative difference degree-time (CDD-T) method, which quantifies changes in slope radar monitoring images over time. By refining the monitoring area into sub-areas, the research accurately identifies relatively dangerous areas and the earliest start areas of landslides. The study also compares the CDD-T method with traditional GNSS monitoring, demonstrating high correlation and reliability. The findings highlight the effectiveness of the CDD-T method in capturing early signs of landslide deformation, providing crucial data for landslide prevention and control. This comprehensive approach offers a more robust and intuitive understanding of landslide evolution, enhancing the accuracy and pertinence of risk prevention strategies.
