Abstract

The article delves into the critical role of wire-to-terminal joints in new energy vehicles and the importance of ultrasonic welding for harness welding. It discusses the impact of various welding parameters on quality and the limitations of traditional methods. The study compares different CNN architectures and signal processing techniques, such as Short-Time Fourier Transform, Continuous Wavelet Transform, and Wigner–Ville Distribution, to classify welding quality automatically. The research identifies the most effective combinations for mobile devices, emphasizing the trade-offs between accuracy, parameter count, and inference speed. The findings offer valuable insights into the application of AI in non-destructive testing, paving the way for future advancements in this field.
