Abstract

The chapter delves into the user emotional experience of short video browsing, leveraging the Cyclic Interaction Model and Affordance Theory. It begins by discussing the importance of user experience and emotion in human-computer interaction, highlighting the need for a systematic analysis of emotional experience. The Affordance Theory and Cyclic Interaction Model are introduced, with a focus on how they can be applied to understand and improve user emotional experience. The chapter then presents a User Action Framework (UAF) for short video browsing, breaking down the user's behavior into four stages: selecting a video, enjoying it, providing feedback, and continuing or ending the session. This framework is used to analyze the emotional experience of each stage and propose targeted improvement solutions. The chapter concludes by emphasizing the practical applications of the Cyclic Interaction Model and Affordance Theory in enhancing user experience in short video browsing.
