Abstract

The research delves into the vibration characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) rotor systems, focusing on the coupling faults arising from rotor parallel eccentricity and bearing inner ring radial misalignment. Utilizing the Timoshenko beam theory and finite element methods, the study develops a detailed model to analyze the dynamic behavior of the system under various fault conditions. Key findings include the significant influence of these faults on system vibrations, with increased fault rates leading to higher vibration amplitudes and more complex frequency components. The article also highlights the impact of bearing radial clearance on system performance, demonstrating that increased clearance can exacerbate vibration issues. Experimental validation supports the theoretical models, underscoring the practical relevance of the research. The study concludes with recommendations for further investigation into the effects of stator vibration and bearing temperature on rotor system dynamics.
