Excerpt

This retraction note addresses the withdrawal of an article previously published in the Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics. The note highlights that Figure 2 of the original article contained multiple instances of the same features within the same panel, indicating potential data manipulation. Despite attempts by the publisher to contact the authors regarding these issues, there was no response. Consequently, the Editor-in-Chief lost confidence in the data and conclusions of the article, leading to its retraction. This note underscores the significance of data integrity in scientific publishing and the responsibilities of authors to address concerns raised about their work. The retraction serves as a cautionary tale for researchers and editors alike, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability in the publication process.
