Abstract

The theory of retrial queuing systems is an essential part of queuing theory. In such systems, when a customer enters the system and finds the servers busy it does not join a limited or unlimited queue as happens in queuing systems with waiting room and does not leave the system forever as happens in queuing systems with losses. Such a customer leaves the system for a random time interval (it is said to “go to the orbit”) and later repeats its attempt to be served. We suggest that the customer repeats its attempts until it receives access to the server.
