Abstract

This chapter delves into the evaluation of regional logistics potential, with a specific focus on the Republic of Tatarstan. The study introduces a multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) method to assess logistics potential, considering both quantitative and qualitative criteria. The research identifies 24 key indicators for evaluating the logistics potential of 43 districts in the Republic of Tatarstan. The study employs the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to solve the multicriteria task and presents a hierarchical 'relevance tree' to structure the criteria. The results reveal the leading districts and cluster them based on their logistics potential. The discussion highlights the practical applications of the method and its adaptability to changing criteria indexes.
