Abstract

This paper deals with the Transportation Systems and Green Energy, spotlighting the crucial challenge of curbing CO2 emissions in the ever-evolving landscape of transportation energy consumption. Unlike a single silver-bullet solution, addressing this issue necessitates the synergistic integration of various innovations within the renewable power generation and transportation infrastructure domains. This special topic explores the methodologies and strategies employed to analyze and optimize these interconnected networks. The paper unfolds by articulating how the transportation sector can undergo a transformative shift, embracing renewable energy solutions. It encompasses diverse modes of transportation, including Roadways, Airways, Waterways, and Railways, in its quest to forge a sustainable path forward. By introducing innovative approaches, this paper demonstrates how renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, can seamlessly blend into the broader energy landscape, guided by informed recommendations. In essence, this paper offers valuable insights into the harmonious convergence of green energy and transportation systems, presenting a roadmap for a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
