Abstract

The study investigates the viability of neem biodiesel as a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based lubricants. It examines the effects of adding multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to neem biodiesel, focusing on improvements in flash and pour points, thermal conductivity, kinematic viscosity, friction coefficient, and wear. The research highlights the potential of MWCNTs to significantly enhance the performance of neem biodiesel-based nano oil, making it a promising candidate for various industrial applications. The article provides detailed characterization of MWCNTs and presents experimental results demonstrating the superior rheological and tribological properties of the nano oil. The findings offer valuable insights into the development of high-performance, eco-friendly lubricants.
