Abstract

The article introduces a robust image watermarking method that combines Non-Subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT) and Contourlet Transform (CT) with a position-adaptive selection strategy. This method enhances the imperceptibility and robustness of watermarked images by adaptively selecting optimal embedding positions for each image block. The proposed method uses the Cuckoo Search Algorithm to optimize the embedding strategy, considering both local and global image information. Experimental results demonstrate that the method outperforms existing techniques in terms of imperceptibility and robustness against various attacks, making it a significant advancement in the field of digital image watermarking.
