Abstract

The article discusses the integration of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) with federated learning (FL) to enhance healthcare security. It highlights the challenges of IoMT attacks and the benefits of FL in addressing privacy concerns. The authors propose a novel rough Fermatean fuzzy decision-based approach for modeling IDS classifiers in FL of IoMT applications. This approach combines FWZIC for weighting criteria and FDOSM for ranking IDS alternatives, addressing the limitations of previous methods. The methodology is validated through experimental results and sensitivity analysis, demonstrating its robustness and practicality. The research contributes to the field by providing a comprehensive evaluation and modeling solution for IDS classifiers, addressing both security and performance criteria.
