Abstract

This chapter delves into the critical aspects of routing delay reduction in LEO distributed computing, focusing on the interplay between edge and cloud computing. The study introduces a synchronous routing decision algorithm designed to optimize energy consumption and minimize latency. Key topics include the mathematical modeling of CPU processing and communication processes, the impact of CPU clock frequencies on energy consumption, and the optimization of information transmission paths. The chapter also explores the energy consumption and computation in edge and cloud computing, providing a detailed analysis of transmission delays and routing optimization strategies. Simulation results compare different strategies, highlighting the effectiveness of the synchronous routing decision algorithm in reducing delays and maintaining acceptable energy consumption levels. The conclusion underscores the importance of complexity assessment in data processing and the benefits of distributed synchronous communication with different routing paths.
