Abstract

The article delves into the critical role of node localization in wireless sensor networks, particularly for environmental monitoring, battlefields, and industrial automation. It discusses the limitations of existing localization methods and introduces a novel approach that combines static and mobile anchor nodes to improve RSSI-based localization. The study focuses on enhancing the precision and adaptability of node localization, reducing errors, and optimizing energy consumption. The proposed method leverages the dynamic efficient RSSI propagation model and employs algorithms like trilateration and centroid generalized regression neural network to achieve high accuracy. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed technique compared to traditional methods, making it a valuable resource for professionals seeking to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of wireless sensor networks.
