Zusammenfassung

Der russische Angriffskrieg auf die Ukraine hatte tiefgreifende Folgen nicht nur für die Staaten in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft, sondern auch für die Europäische Union (EU). Als wichtigster Zusammenschluss europäischer Staaten mit großem politischem Einfluss und enormer Wirtschaftskraft musste sie sich zum Krieg in der Ukraine positionieren. Und dies tat die EU bereits unmittelbar vor Beginn der Invasion, indem sie ein erstes Maßnahmenpaket verabschiedete.
