Abstract

The article introduces RYDE, a digital signature scheme based on the Rank Syndrome Decoding problem, leveraging the MPC-in-the-Head paradigm to enhance security and efficiency. RYDE is designed to provide quantum-resistant signatures with signature sizes below 6kB, making it a strong candidate for the NIST Post-Quantum Cryptography Standardization process. The scheme's performance is highlighted by its optimized hypercube structure and low-threshold linear secret sharing, which improve both signature generation and verification times. The article also includes a comprehensive security analysis and comparison with existing schemes, showcasing RYDE's superiority in the post-quantum cryptographic landscape.
