Abstract

Da es in Deutschland im Rahmen wissenschaftlicher Forschung vorrangig qualitative Erhebungen zum Thema TS gibt (Ellwart et al., 2016), leistet diese Arbeit hierzu einen wichtigen quantitativen Beitrag. Sie hilft dabei, TS und das Interesse daran theoriebegleitet besser zu verstehen, zumal dieses Arbeitsmodell noch relativ wenig theoriebasiert erforscht wurde (Ellwart et al., 2016; Vine et al., 2008). Die praktische Relevanz des Themas ist nicht zuletzt damit zu begründen, dass sinnvolle flexible Arbeitsmodelle nötig sind, um dem in Zukunft drohenden Fach- und Führungskräftemangel zu begegnen (Schirmer, 2016; Szebel-Habig & Kaps, 2016).
