Abstract
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) takes two forms: attended RPA bots, which augment tasks and activities performed by front or back office workers via automation; and unattended RPA bots, which perform tasks and application interactions in an automated manner without any human engagement. While IT teams adopt RPA to reduce operational and labor costs, CISOs must have their security teams properly review the security of their company’s RPA adoption to ensure compliance with the principle of Zero Trust.
