Abstract

The article delves into the creation of a self-powered photodetector using copper-doped methyl ammonium lead bromide perovskite. It highlights the advantages of lead halide perovskites in photovoltaic systems and the challenges associated with their practical implementation. The research focuses on enhancing the structural and optical properties through vacuum annealing, which significantly improves crystallinity and reduces defects. The study demonstrates that copper doping and annealing lead to better photovoltaic performance, increased photoconversion efficiency, and improved device stability. The findings include enhanced carrier recombination lifetimes, broader photo-response ranges, and superior photosensitivity, making the device promising for applications in imaging and optical communications.
