Abstract

Fluoride salt cooled high temperature reactor (FHR) is a promising advanced fourth generation reactor. Self-stability of FHR focus on the ability to converge to an equilibrium point without control loop, which is crucial for the design of control system and operation strategy of FHR. In this paper, the self-stability of the FHR is analyzed based on its physical characteristic using shifted-ectropy approach. Through theoretical analysis, it is proved that the equilibriums of FHR dynamics are globally asymptotically stable.
