Abstract

The article explores the use of ensemble learning and feature selection for sentiment classification of movie reviews. It introduces a novel framework that integrates multiple criteria for feature selection and meta-learning-based dynamic ensemble selection. The proposed method shows significant improvements in accuracy and kappa metrics compared to traditional methods. The study also highlights the effectiveness of the feature selection ensemble (FSE) and the improved META-DES framework in enhancing sentiment classification performance. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over existing state-of-the-art approaches.
