Abstract

The article delves into the potential of silicon quantum dots (SiQDs) to enhance the efficiency and stability of solar cells. It discusses the incorporation of SiQDs into photovoltaic modules without altering their structure, highlighting their optical properties that can improve spectral absorption and utilization. The study also explores the downconversion function of SiQDs, which can convert UV light into visible light, thereby enhancing the efficiency and optical stability of photovoltaic modules. Additionally, it addresses the critical issue of UV aging in perovskite solar cells, an area that has received limited attention. The article provides a comprehensive overview of the advantages and applications of SiQDs in solar cell technology, making it a valuable resource for professionals in the field.
