Abstract

This chapter delves into the critical role of distribution networks in modern energy systems and the challenges posed by increasing complexity and the integration of distributed energy resources. It introduces an improved transmission line decoupling method designed to enhance the simulation of distribution networks, focusing on the Bergeron model and traditional decoupling techniques for long transmission lines. The chapter proposes a novel approach to increase wave propagation time by introducing compensation capacitors, ensuring the transient steady-state characteristics of the simulation system remain unchanged. Through a detailed example simulation using MATLAB, the chapter verifies the effectiveness of the improved method. A three-phase nine-node system is used to demonstrate the method's accuracy and reliability, comparing voltage and current waveforms before and after decoupling. The results show that the improved method maintains consistency with the original system, proving its feasibility and effectiveness in enhancing simulation accuracy and reliability.
