Abstract

Für Unternehmen ist die Innovation des eigenen Geschäftsmodells einer der Hauptfaktoren für nachhaltige Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Profitabilität. Wir analysieren in diesem Beitrag Smart Services im B2C-Bereich und fokussieren uns auf die drei Segmente Smart Home, Quantified Self und Smart Mobility. Daneben unterscheiden wir Smart Service-Geschäftsmodellinnovationen hinsichtlich ihres Innovationsgrads und ihres Innovationsdrucks. Mithilfe dieser Gütekriterien leiten wir eine Innovationsmatrix her und zeigen anhand von vier Strategien, wie Unternehmen Smart Service-Geschäftsmodellinnovationen am Markt platzieren können.
