Abstract

The study examines the detrimental effects of soil salinity on quinoa growth, water relations, and seed quality. It highlights the critical role of potassium in mitigating these effects, demonstrating that higher doses of potassium can significantly improve plant height, transpiration rate, water use efficiency, and photosynthetic rate. Additionally, the research shows that potassium application enhances seed germination, vigor, and yield, making it a valuable resource for agricultural professionals seeking to optimize crop production in salt-affected soils. The findings provide a comprehensive understanding of how potassium can be used to improve quinoa cultivation under challenging conditions, offering practical solutions for enhancing crop resilience and productivity.
