Abstract

The article delves into the critical issue of optimal power flow (OPF) in power systems, highlighting the importance of effective optimization algorithms. It introduces the spider wasp optimization algorithm and its multi-objective extension, MOSWO, designed to address the challenges of multi-objective OPF problems. The research evaluates MOSWO's performance on various test functions and real-world OPF scenarios, showcasing its ability to balance exploration and exploitation effectively. The study also compares MOSWO with other state-of-the-art optimization methods, providing a comprehensive analysis of its strengths and potential applications in power system optimization.
