Abstract

The article delves into the construction of self-dual and isodual codes using matrix product codes, focusing on Euclidean and Hermitian self-dual codes. It introduces the definitions and properties of self-dual and isodual codes, and provides constructions using Reed-Muller and projective Reed-Muller codes. The article also explores the constructions of sequences of Euclidean isodual constacyclic codes with square-root-like minimum Hamming distances. Additionally, it discusses the properties of matrix product codes and their relationship with constacyclic codes. The article concludes with several examples and corollaries, highlighting the practical applications of the constructions.
