Abstract

In the preceding chapters, we have explained the GIS data models, data types, data entry and editing in the Geographic Information System. In addition, digital data can be exploited for mapping and extracting information through spatial analysis for effective management of geographic objects/features/phenomena and identifying the new associations, thereby enhancing our knowledge of the real world.
