Abstract

The article presents a novel approach for sensorless control of bearingless synchronous reluctance motors at low speeds using an improved Luenberger observer method. Traditional control strategies rely on mechanical sensors, which are costly and have high environmental requirements. The proposed method uses current derivatives to estimate rotor angle and speed, avoiding the need for high-frequency signal injection or accurate motor models. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate the method's accuracy and reliability across various speed ranges and load conditions. This approach holds significant potential for improving the performance and applicability of bearingless motors in industries requiring precise control and high efficiency.
