Volkswagen's ID.4 and ID.5 models are receiving significant upgrades, including a new E-Drive system with a more powerful e-motor and improved charging capabilities. The ID.4 Pro and ID.5 Pro models now feature a 210 kW output, while the dual-engine GTX models offer a system output of 250 kW. The new 77 kWh battery increases the range, with the ID.4 Pro reaching up to 550 km according to WLTP. Additionally, Volkswagen's e-cars are getting new and faster software, including a revised infotainment system with a 12.9" touchscreen and an augmented reality head-up display.
