Zusammenfassung

Standortbezogene virtuelle Realität (engl. location-based virtual reality, kurz LBVR) leitet sich vom Begriff standortbezogene Unterhaltungsangebote (engl. location-based entertainment) ab. Standortbezogene Unterhaltungsangebote, in denen Menschen die ihnen zur Verfügung stehende Freizeit genießen, sind z. B. Vergnügungsgärten oder Freizeitparks. In Kombination mit immersiver VR lassen sich so Erlebnisse erschaffen, wie es im eigenen Zuhause nicht möglich ist.
