Abstract

This article examines the current international gallium market, changes that may occur in that market due to the creation of new uses for gallium, and the status and prospects of the Russian gallium market. It discusses the dynamics of gallium production worldwide and prices changes of recent years, and it analyzes changes in the industrial and trade policies of China – the largest producer of gallium. Predictions are made on the near- and long-term demand for gallium.
