Zusammenfassung

Ausgehend vom Terminus alternative facts und seinen epistemologischen Implikationen werden drei Diskursfelder zusammengeführt: das der öffentlichen Rhetorik einer neuen politischen ‚Generation Fake‘, das der postmodernen respektive poststrukturalistischen Medientheorie und das fiktionaler Epistemologien, wie sie sich in Beispielen postmoderner Literatur sowie des zeitgenössischen Films finden. Ziel dessen ist es, den epistemologischen Gehalt der neuen politischen Rhetorik des Postfaktischen zu prüfen, einerseits auf die ihr zugrunde liegende Wirklichkeitstheorie, anderseits auf die von ihr herausgeforderte Wahrheitstheorie.
