The article explores the development of a stress-adaptive user interface for combine harvesters, addressing the declining number of agricultural workers and the increasing workload on farmers. By detecting the operator's stress levels and providing task recommendations, the interface aims to maintain optimal workload levels and enhance situational awareness. Surveys and data analyses support the need for such an interface, showing that farmers are open to assistance systems and desire additional tasks during automated operation. The project, part of Fahrerkabine 4.0 | OnField, promises improvements in ecological, economic, and social terms by integrating further information and tasks into the harvesting process.
