Abstract

The article delves into the structural and electrical properties of Pr0.6(Sr1-xKx)0.4MnO3 polycrystalline ceramics, synthesized via the sol–gel method and doped with monovalent K ions. The study reveals how K-doping influences crystal structure, surface morphology, and electrical properties, leading to a high TCR value near room temperature. The optimized ceramic (x = 0.15) shows promise for advanced uncooled infrared bolometers, making it a significant contribution to the field of perovskite manganites and their practical applications.
