Abstract

The study investigates the design and mechanical properties of gradient primitive porous dental implants created using selective laser melting (SLM). It focuses on the use of triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) structures to achieve optimal porosity and gradient change rates, aiming to mitigate stress shielding and improve implant-bone integration. The research involves comprehensive compression tests and finite element analysis to identify the most effective structural parameters for porous dental implants, highlighting the potential of SLM technology in advancing dental implant design and performance.
