Abstract

The article delves into the multiferroic properties of (1−x) Ba0.95Yb0.05TiO3-(x) NiFe1.95Yb0.05O4 composites, focusing on the structural, electric, magnetic, and magneto-dielectric characteristics. The study employs the sol–gel technique to synthesize and characterize these composites, revealing significant improvements in dielectric, ferroelectric, and magneto-dielectric properties due to ytterbium doping. The composites exhibit two ferroelectric phase transitions and low magneto-crystalline anisotropy, making them promising for applications in magnetic cores and transformers. The enhanced magneto-capacitance observed in the presence of a magnetic field further underscores the potential of these composites for advanced multifunctional devices.
