Abstract

The study investigates the impact of substituting Nd3+ for Fe3+ in cobalt ferrite, revealing significant improvements in lattice constants, magnetic properties, and dielectric performance. The sol-gel spontaneous combustion method was employed to synthesize CoNdxFexO4, leading to enhanced real dielectric constants and increased coercivity. The formation of NdFeO3 as a secondary phase at high substitution levels was observed, affecting the overall properties. This research provides valuable insights into optimizing the performance of spinel ferrites for advanced applications in electronics and energy storage devices.
