Studiengangentwicklung und Verstetigung von organisationalen Lernprozessen am Beispiel des Forschungsprojekts Open IT

Die Digitalisierung im Zusammenhang mit dem Fachkräftemangel ist eine bedeutsame Herausforderung. Insbesondere die IT-Branche ist durch agile und komplexe Entwicklungen geprägt. In diesem Rahmen ist die akademische Weiterbildung von IT-Praktikern notwendig, um den Anforderungen im IT-Arbeitsmarkt zu entsprechen. Im Rahmen des Forschungsprojekts Open IT, welches im Rahmen des Bund-Länder-Wettbewerbs „Aufstieg durch Bildung: offene Hochschulen“ durchgeführt wurde, entwickelt die Hochschule Weserbergland Anrechnungsstudiengänge für IT-Praktiker. Die Studiengänge „Bachelor Wirtschaftsinformatik“ und „Master IT Business Management“ zielen auf IT-Praktiker und IT-Experten ab, die zuvor eine Ausbildung oder Weiterbildung in diesem Bereich absolvierten. Diese Studienprogramme sind in Deutschland aufgrund der Anrechnung von vorherigen Qualifikationen neuartig. Die Studienprogramme und deren Entwicklung werden in diesem Artikel beschrieben. Das Deutero-Konzept im Sinne des organisationalen Lernens stellt die theoretische Grundlage dar. Single-Loop-Learning und Double-Loop-Learning werden auf das Forschungsprojekt angewendet.

Digitalization in combination with the shortage of skilled workers is a significant challenge that has to be faced. Especially the IT sector is characterized by agile and complex developments. In this context, academic further training of IT specialists is crucial to meet the requirements of the IT labor market. The University of Applied Science Weserbergland in Hamelin (Germany) (Hochschule Weserbergland) developed different IT study programs within the research project “Open IT” against the background of the described developments. The study programs “Bachelor of Business Informatics” and “Master IT Business Management” are designed for IT specialists and IT experts with initial and advanced training. These study programs are the first of its kind for the IT sector in Germany due to the recognition of previous professional qualifications. The study programs and their development process are described in this paper. The Deutero concept in terms of organizational learning is the theoretical basis for this article. Single-loop learning and double-loop learning are applied to the research project.
