Abstract

The study delves into the resistivity of beech wood dust, a crucial parameter in industrial processes involving powder materials. By measuring the resistivity at various particle sizes and voltages, the research reveals how particle size significantly influences conductivity. Notably, the resistivity decreases with increasing particle size at higher voltages, underscoring the importance of assessing dust resistivity for designing effective explosion prevention measures. The findings highlight the need for evaluating the resistivity of all types of dust, including non-combustible ones, to manage static electricity risks in industrial settings.
