Abstract

The study explores the perception of fabric stickiness by examining the frictional behavior between fabric and skin, and the cognitive mechanisms involved in tactile sensations. Using ERP methods, the research identifies brain regions and neural activities related to stickiness perception, and correlates these with subjective stickiness sensations. The investigation covers different wetness levels of fabrics and their impact on friction, vibration, and perceived stickiness. The findings contribute to understanding the neurophysiological responses to tactile stimuli and provide valuable insights for applications in intimate apparel, sportswear, and healthcare products.
