Abstract

The study focuses on enhancing the road feel model of a steer-by-wire system using an improved Dung Beetle Optimization algorithm. By addressing the challenges of road feel simulation, the research aims to provide a more stable and realistic driving experience. The authors combine vehicle dynamics with optimization techniques, introducing an enhanced algorithm that improves the convergence rate and global search capability. The paper also introduces a variable transmission ratio model and optimizes the sliding mode control law to enhance the robustness of the system. Simulations and bench experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed model, demonstrating superior performance over traditional control methods. The research highlights the potential of advanced optimization algorithms in improving the accuracy and stability of steering control systems in intelligent vehicles.
