Abstract

The study examines the development and evaluation methods for in-vehicle sound quality in electric vehicles (EVs) under constant speed driving. It introduces a mathematical model for engine order sound based on short-time Fourier transform and synthesis technology, which is used to extract and synthesize engine order sounds. The research also highlights the development of an active sound generation system (ASGS) that enhances the comfort and power of EV sound. The article includes hardware and software development for the ASGS, as well as subjective and objective evaluations that demonstrate the system's effectiveness in improving in-vehicle sound quality.
